Counting the coins tells you what was there. It doesn't tell you what should have been there.

You write down what you take out and see right away whether it matches, is short or is over. Every collection is saved with its date.
Where the numbers come from
To reconcile, you need the counter.
Repónlo does not connect to the machine or to the coin mechanism. The figure comes from what you write down.
- The expected cash comes from the counter readings. Without readings there is no figure to compare against.
- If you don't record counters, you still see what has sold per slot and per product, worked out from what you count and load at each restock.
- You can collect without restocking. Collecting the money from a machine is a separate visit, with its readings and its amount.
An example
A month of the gym machine.
Four collections. Three add up to the cent; on the 16th, €13.50 is missing. Without the expected figure, €171 would have passed for a slow week.

Questions
Before you try it.
My machine also takes cards. Does it take that into account?
Yes. On the machine's page you say whether its counter includes card sales and, when you collect, you enter the card reading. Repónlo subtracts it to keep just the cash.
What if I collect with no signal?
The collection is saved on your phone and sent automatically when the connection comes back.
What if I forgot to record a collection one day?
You add it afterwards with its date and what you took out, and the next one counts from that day again.
Is there a sheet to do it by hand?
Yes: our free cash collection sheet in Excel. It does the same calculation with the counter readings you enter.
